Marketing challenges and celebrations

Tom reflects on the marketing challenges and celebrations associated with running the business – and this podcast!

Starting a business was never part of the plan for Tom, the owner of Nautilus Marketing.

He originally went to drama school and worked as an actor, but quickly became disillusioned with the industry.

Despite the ups and downs, Nautilus has grown significantly, both financially and in terms of the size of the team.

Tom attributes this success to the hard work and dedication of the “nerds” who make up the team.

Over the past few years, Tom has learned a lot as a business owner and has come to appreciate the value of a strong team and good service delivery.

He also recognizes that running a business can be tough and there are times when he wants to throw in the towel.

However, he finds inspiration from the show “The Crown”.

In addition to growing the core business, Nautilus is also branching out into other areas as he reveals in the episode.

Tom is grateful for the flexibility and close-knit relationships within the team and explains how he credits his partner, Jake, for being a key part of the business’s success.

As the year comes to a close and everyone starts to get into the holiday spirit, Tom looks forward to the new year and all the exciting opportunities it will bring.
